MATERIAL:

SUGGESTED HOOK: 

Círculo 1.75 mm crochet hook, or size needed to achieve gauge.

YARDAGE:

4, (5, 5, 6), 6 and 7 Círculo Anne balls (273 yds / 250 m, 2.57 oz / 73 g), sample in color 7684 – Porcelain.

4, (5, 5, 6), 6 and 7 Círculo Encanto balls (139 yds / 128 m, 3.52 oz / 73 g), sample in color 7650 – Almond.

NOTIONS:

·         Measuring Tape.

·         Tapestry needle.

·         Scissors.

GAUGE: 21 sts x 12 rows = 4" x 4" / 10x10 cm in stitch pattern.

STITCHES USED:

Chain (ch);

Single crochet (sc);

Slip stitch (sl st);

Double crochet (dc);

Front post double crochet (fpdc);

Back post double crochet (bpdc).

Execution

This piece is made without side seams: the front and back are made as a single panel.

Using Anne yarn, ch 177, (195, 213, 231), 249, 267, (17 for the base + 1 turning ch), 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, (skip 2 ch, 5 dc in the next ch, skip 2 ch, 1 sc in the next ch) repeat 3 times;

Skip 2 ch, in the next ch work [(1 dc, 1 ch) 2 times; 1 dc]; skip 2 ch, 1 sc in the next ch, (skip 2 ch, 5 dc in the next ch, skip 2 ch, 1 sc in the next ch) repeat 21 (23, 25, 27), 29, 31 times;

Skip 2 ch, in the next ch work [(1 dc, 1 ch) 2 times; 1 dc]; skip 2 ch, 1 sc in the next ch, (skip 2 ch, 5 dc in the next ch, skip 2 ch, 1 sc in the next ch) repeat 3 times.

Continue following the chart.

In the 52nd (52nd, 54th, 56th), 58th, 60th, row, make the armhole decreases.

Work 14 (14, 14, 14), 14, 14, more rows and make the neckline decreases.

SLEEVES

With Anne yarn, ch 56, (62, 68, 74), 80, 86 (55 for the base + 1 turning ch), 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, (skip 2 ch, 5 dc in the next ch, skip 2 ch, 1 sc in the next ch) repeat 4 times; Skip 2 ch, in the next ch work [(1 dc, 1 ch) 2 times]; 1 dc; skip 2 ch, (1 sc in the next ch, skip 2 ch, 5 dc in the next ch, skip 2 ch) repeat 4 times; 1 sc in the last ch.

Continue following the chart.

ASSEMBLING:

Sew the shoulders, attach the sleeves to the armholes, sew the underarms.

Work the finishing rows on the front and around the neckline – note that around the neckline, you should decrease 1 ch between the repetitions in the 2nd row.

FRINGES:

Cut Encanto Slim yarn into 28.3 in / 72 cm pieces, group them in sets of 8, and hang them as fringes on the neckline, hem, and underarm.

FINISHING

Weave in all your ends, wet block and lay flat to dry.
