Cameo Top

Just when you think a top can’t get better we crafted this beauty with a flawless fit, this top is the new summer classic and it was made with Encanto Slim 100% viscose.

Level of difficulty

Sizes: S (M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)

Materials:

4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 7) balls of Encanto Slim color 3201

Crochet hook D-3

Tapestry needle

Paper, pencil and scissors

Fabric to line top.

Gauge: 19 dc x 10 R = 4” /10 cm using Hook D-3.

Execution

Transfer measurement chart to paper to guide you along. Arrows indicate direction.

Front & back are worked simultaneously.

Crochet in the round. Start at hem. Ch 172 (182, 192, 208, 224, 240) and close with 1 sl st. Follow Pattern A - chart 1 and rep sts for 10.25 (10.75, 11, 11.5, 11.75, 12.25) in / 26 (27, 28, 29, 30, 31) cm.

Work front & back separately, follow Pattern B - chart 2, rep sts and measurement chart to shape Raglan armholes.

At 16.5 (17.25, 18, 19, 19.75, 20.5) in / 42 (44, 46, 48, 50, 52) cm from the beginning fasten off and set piece aside.

Sleeves (mk 2): start at cuff. Ch 49 (53, 57, 64, 72, 80) and follow Pattern B - chart 2, rep sts and measurement chart to shape Raglan armholes.

At 6.25 (6.75, 7, 7.5, 7.75, 8.25) in / 16 (17, 18, 19, 20, 21) cm from the beginning fasten off. Mk other sleeve.

Assembly & finishing: sew sleeves onto body (Raglan shaping). Mk 1 row in sc Around neckline, hem and cuffs.

Lining: use fabric to mk a tank top and sew around neckline.
