Materials:

Náutico Poly yarn 5 mm - Color: 3402 (Circulo Red);

7.0 mm Círculo crochet hook;

Círculo tapestry needle;

Scissors;

Measuring tape.

 

Abbreviations: foll.: following, hk.: hook, row(s): row(s), diag.: diagram, st(s): stitch(es), rep.: repeat or repetition, wrk.: work or working, x: times.


Crochet stitches: ch: chain, sl st: slip stitch, sc: single crochet, dc: double crochet, Pattern (A): follow diagram 1, Pattern (B): follow diagram 2.


Gauge: a 4-inch (10 cm) square in dc with a 7.0 mm hook = 11 sts x 5 rows.

 

Execution


Observe the arrows on the measurement diagram indicating the direction of the work.


Bag base (back and front): Use the 7.0 mm crochet hook and Náutico Poly yarn. Begin the piece at the center by creating a magic ring. Row 1: Ch 3, 3 dc, 2 ch, 4 dc, repeat from to 2 more times, 2 ch, sl st to close the row. From Rows 2 to 7: Continue in Pattern (A) in circular rows, following Diagram 1. Fasten off. Finishing: Use the tapestry needle and Náutico Poly yarn. Fold the bag base in half to determine the back and front. Sew the sides with basting stitches.


Bag edge: Use the 7.0 mm crochet hook and Náutico Poly yarn. Work the edge of the front and back parts in circular rows. Join the yarn to the side of the bag edge and work in Pattern (B), following Diagram 2 and the repeat pattern from Rows 8 to 13. Fasten off.
