Execution

Size 18 Months

Transfer the molds to wax paper to use as reference when crocheting the pieces. Pay attention to the arrows in the measurements chart that indicate the direction of the work.

Dress

Crochet front and back at once.

Yoke (1st section)

Using a 2.5 mm crochet hook and Charme in the color Off White, work vertically to create the yoke.

Ch 20, and starting at the 2nd chain from the hook, work in Stitch pattern (A), following Chart 1 and the stitch repeat.

The edge where the odd rows begin represents the upper portion of the yoke (neckline); the edge where the even rows begin represents the bottom.

Neckline circumference (front and back together): 32 sts (≈6.5 in)

Bottom edge width: adjust naturally based on stitch pattern and tension.

Yoke height: 3.25 in (≈7 rows)

Work a total of 22 repeats of the yoke motif to achieve the required width.

Yoke Separation

Using a pin or stitch marker, mark the armholes (3.5 in from each side).

Start crocheting the row and ch 3 (≈0.5 in) when you reach the markings, to join the front and back of the body; skip the stitches between the markings.

Each ch 3 forms the underarm. FO.

Body (2nd section)

Join the yarn at the right underarm and work the body using Lace Pattern (B) from Chart 2, in the round.

Continue until the body measures 10.25 in from the start of the section (≈23 rows).

Work 11–12 vertical pattern repeats (each 2 rows) in Lace Pattern (B).

Ensure your stitch count at the start of this section supports the stitch multiple of the lace pattern. Adjust by increasing or decreasing up to 1–2 stitches if needed.

Finish with border stitch, following Chart 3 and its stitch repeat in the round. FO.

Then, crochet the border stitch around the bottom edge of the yoke (Chart 3).

Make 1 row of SC around the neckline. FO.

Flower (Chart 4)

Using a 1.25 mm hook and Maxi Mouline in pink (9288):

Make a magic ring.

Row 1: ch 1, {1 SC, 1 HDC, 2 DC, 1 HDC}, repeat { } 7 more times (8 petals total).
