Materials:

•    4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 7) skeins of Anne yarn (147 g) – Color: 2856 (Deep Indigo)

•    1 spool of Maxxi Thread – Color: 506 (Navy)

•    1 zipper 37 (39, 41, 43, 45, 47) cm – Color: navy blue

•    2.5 mm crochet hook

•    Tapestry needle

•    Sewing needle - No. 2

•    Tracing paper

•    Pencil

•    Scissors

•    Measuring tape

•    Sewing machine

Gauge: 23 sts x 14 rows =  4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) in pattern stitch A (diagram 1) using  2.5 mm crochet hook

Stitches Used

Execution

Transfer templates to tracing paper. Note arrows indicating work direction.

Dress - Upper Front Section

Use 2.5 mm crochet hook and Anne yarn 2856 (Deep Indigo). Work in turning rows.

Right shoulder: Ch 25 (28, 30, 33, 35, 37). Work diagram 1 (blue section), rows 1-7. Fasten off and set aside.

Left shoulder: Ch 25 (28, 30, 33, 35, 37). Work diagram 1 (red section), rows 1-7. On row 7, ch 48 (48, 50, 53, 55, 55) for neckline, joining to right shoulder row 7. Continue diagram 1 (black section), rows 8-38 (40, 42, 44, 46, 48). Fasten off and set aside.

Upper Back Sections

Left back: Ch 51 (54, 57, 61, 64, 66). Work pattern B (diagram 2), rows 1-38 (40, 42, 44, 46, 48). Fasten off and set aside.

Right back: Ch 51 (54, 57, 61, 64, 66). Work pattern C (diagram 3), rows 1-38 (40, 42, 44, 46, 48). Fasten off and set aside.

Assembly

Join shoulders for 4.4 (4.8, 5.2, 5.6, 6, 6.2) in / 11 (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) cm. Seam sides for 7 (7.4, 7.8, 8.2, 8.6 9) in / 18 (19, 20, 21, 22, 23) cm, leaving 7.4 (7.8, 8.2, 8.6, 9, 9.4) in / 19 (20, 21, 22, 23, 24) cm armhole openings.

Skirt

Begin at right back, work through front, end at left back. Work in continuous rounds using pattern D (diagram 4), rounds 1-42 (43, 44, 45, 46, 47). Fasten off and set aside.

Sleeves (make 2)

Ch 41 (46, 51, 55, 60, 64). Work pattern E (diagram 5), rows 1-59 (60, 62, 63, 64, 66). Attach to armhole and seam side for 12.6 (13, 13.4, 13.8, 14.2, 14.6) in / 32 (33, 34, 35, 36, 37) cm. Work cuff in continuous rounds using pattern F (diagram 6), rounds 1-14.

Finishing

Baste zipper to back opening using navy thread.

Lining

Construct separate form-fitting tank dress.
