Materials:

Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn (14 oz - 400g) - 2 skeins in color 8990 (Black);

Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn (7 oz - 200g) - 1 skein in color 4456 (Orange);

Círculo 4.0 mm (US G/6) crochet hook;

Scissors;

Measuring tape;

Polyester fiberfill;

4 plastic rings (1.5 in – 38 mm).

Yield: 2 skeins of Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn (14 oz - 400g) make 4 charger plates, and 1 skein of Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn (7 oz - 200g) makes 4 napkin rings.

Placemat: With Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn in Black, start with a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Magic ring, ch 3, 23 dc, join with sl st (24)

Rnd 2: Ch 3, 1 dc in same st, 23 dc inc, join with sl st (36)

Rnd 3: Ch 3, 1 dc, 1 dc inc, 2 dc, 1 dc inc repeat 10x (48)

Rnd 4: Ch 3, 2 dc, 1 dc inc, 3 dc, 1 dc inc repeat 10x (60)

Rnd 5: Ch 3, 3 dc, 1 dc inc, 4 dc, 1 dc inc repeat 10x (72)

Rnd 6: Start with 3 ch, 4 dc, 1 dc inc, 5 dc, 1 dc inc, repeat 10x (84)

Rnd 13: Start with 1 sc, ch 2, skip 2 sts of base, 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc over the 2 ch of base, ch 2, 1 dc over base dc, ch 2, skip 2 sts of base, repeat 23x, join with sl st, FO.

Make 4 identical charger plates.

Napkin Ring: With Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn in Orange, start with 15 ch + 1 turning ch. Rnd 1: Work back starting from the 2nd ch from the hook with 3 sc, 9 hdc, 3 sc

Rnd 2 to 32: Start with 1 ch, 3 sc tbl, 9 hdc tbl, 3 sc tbl, FO leaving a tail for sewing.

Sew the two ends of the piece together, joining the 1st and last rows of Diagram 2 with a hand stitch. Close the bottom with a reversed magic ring, inserting the hook through every 2 rows, pull the yarn until completely closed, FO. Stuff the pumpkin with polyester fiberfill and close the top with a reversed magic ring, inserting the hook through every 2 rounds, pull the yarn until completely closed, FO.

Make 4 identical pumpkins, sew a plastic ring to the bottom of each pumpkin, FO.
