Materials:
Anne – 8 (9, 10, 12, 13, 14) balls - color 3528 (Carmine);
Crochet hook 2 mm or size to obtain gauge;
Scissors;
Measuring tape;
Tapestry needle;
1 button (approx. 0.40” dia);
Sewing thread and needle;
1 zipper in the same color of dress – 14.25 (14.5, 15, 15.25, 15.75, 16.25) in / 36 (37, 38, 39, 40, 41) cm;
Fabric to line dress.
Gauge: Rosette C - chart 3 = 4.5” x 4.5” using hook 2 mm.

Rosette A - make 4:
Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st.
Make a magic ring.
R1: ch 3, 15 dc.
R2 onwards follow chart 1 until you reach a width x height of 6.75 ( 7.5, 8.75, 9.75, 10.75, 11.5) in / 17 (19, 22, 25, 27, 29) cm
Rosette B - make 58:
Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st.
Make a magic ring.
R1: ch 3, 15 dc.
R2 onwards follow chart 2 until you reach a width x height of 6 (6.75, 7.5, 8.25, 9, 9.5) in / 15 (17, 19, 21, 23, 24) cm
Rosette C - make 17:
Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st.
Make a magic ring.
R1: ch 3 + 1 dc closed tog, ch 2, 2 dc cluster rep from to 6 more times, ch 2, 1 sl st.
R2 onwards follow chart 3 until you reach a width x height of 3.5 (4.25, 5, 6, 6.75, 7.5) in / 9 (11, 13, 15, 17, 19) cm
Rosette D - make 6:
Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st.
Make a magic ring.
R1: ch 3, 15 dc.
R2 onwards follow chart 4 until you reach a width x height of 5.5 (6.25, 7, 7.75, 8.75, 9) in / 14 (16, 18, 20, 22, 23) cm
Rosette E - make 6:
Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st.
Make a magic ring.
R1: ch 3 + 1 dc closed tog, ch 2, 2 dc cluster rep from to 6 more times, ch 2, 1 sl st.
R2 onwards follow chart 5 until you reach a width x height of 2.25 (3.25, 4, 4.75, 5.5, 6.25) in / 6 (8, 10, 12, 14, 16) cm
Motif to join rosettes - Chart 6 - make 141 (1.25” x 1.25”) / (3 cm x 3 cm)
Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st.
Make a magic ring.
R1: ch 1, 1 sc, ch 4, 1 sc, ch 4 rep from to 2 more times, 1 sc, 1sl st.
Half-rosette - make 2 (2” x 3.5”) / (5 cm x 9 cm):
Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st.
Make a magic ring.
R1: ch 5, 2 dc cluster, ch 2 rep from to 3 more times, 1 dc.
R2 - 4: crochet back and forth, follow chart 7.
Rosette F - make 8 (2” x 2”) / (5 cm x 5 cm):
Crochet in the round. Close rnds with 1 sl st.
Make a magic ring.
R1: ch 3 + 1 dc closed tog, ch 2, 2 dc cluster rep from to 6 more times, ch 2, 1 sl st.
R3: follow chart 8.
Dress assembly: after you completed all the motifs follow assembly chart and join motifs with 1 sl st. Leave 6.25 (6.75, 7, 7.5, 7.75, 8.25) in / 16 (17, 18, 19, 20, 21) cm open on each side for armholes and 14.25 (14.5, 15, 15.25, 15.75, 16.25) in / 36 (37, 38, 39, 40, 41) cm open on back to sew zipper.
Note: The length and width measurements are suggestions and can be adjusted to suit your body. To do this, simply remove or add one or more motifs.
Furthermore, the final measurements may vary depending on your tension and the elasticity of the yarn.
Back opening finishing: work around the back opening in sc. Switch to sewing thread and needle and sew zipper onto back and sew button onto neckline right side.
Lining: use crochet dress as a template to make slip. Sew onto shoulders, neckline and back opening.
