Execution

Transfer the patterns to the tracing paper to use as a reference when making the piece. Note the arrows in the measurement diagram indicating the direction of the work.

Bodice: Using the 3.5 mm crochet hk and Charme yarn #8001 (White), start the piece at the waist. Wk front and back at once in back and forth rows, starting from the L side. Wk a chain of 121 ch; over this chain, wk in pattern st (A), foll diag 1 and the rep st from row 1 to 8. Next, continue wk in the round in pattern st (B), foll diag 2 and the rep st from rnd 9 to 12. Next, continue with front and back separately, in back and forth rows. Upper back – continue in pattern st (C), foll diag 3 from row 13 to 34. Upper front – continue in pattern st (D), foll diag 4 from row 13 to 34.

Dress skirt: Using the 3.5 mm crochet hk and Charme yarn #8001 (White), join the yarn to the initial waist chain on the L side; wk in back and forth rows. Wk in pattern st (E), foll diag 5 and the rep st from row 35 to 47. Next, continue with the skirt wk in the round in pattern st (F), foll diag 6 and the rep sts from rnd 48 to 54. Continue in pattern st (G), foll diag 7 and the rep st from rnd 55 to 68. Continue in pattern st (H), foll diag 8 and the rep st from rnd 69 to 83. Continue in pattern st (I), foll diag 9 and the rep st from rnd 84 to 91. Continue in pattern st (J), foll diag 10 and the rep st from rnd 92 to 107. Fo the yarn.

Shoulders assembly: Use the tapestry needle and Charme yarn #8001 (White) to join the shoulders (6 cm / 2.36″). 

Neckline edge: Using the 3.5 mm crochet hk and Charme yarn #2856 (Teal), wk the edging (24 mot) in the round, foll diag 11 and the rep st from rnd 108 to 109. 

Armhole edge: Using the 3.5 mm crochet hk and Charme yarn #2856 (Teal), wk the edging (27 mot) in the round, foll diag 11 and the rep st from rnd 108 to 109. Fo the yarn.

Finishing: On the L side of the dress, attach the zipper (23 cm / 9.06″) using the Maxxi Retrós thread #100 (White) on the sewing machine. 

Suggested lining: Fitted dress, separate piece.
