Ch 186 (210, 234, 258, 282, 306), join to form a ring, and work the skirt section following the chart in the indicated area.
At 13.5 (13.75, 14.5, 15.25, 16.25, 17) in / 34 (35, 37, 39, 41, 43) cm from the beginning of the work, make one row of edging following the chart and fasten off.
Top Section
Using the same foundation chain from the beginning of the work, reattach yarn and work the top section following the chart for 10.25 (10.75, 11, 11.5, 11.75, 12.25) in / 26 (27, 28, 29, 30, 31) cm in length from the waist.
The same chart is used for all sizes. Distribute the increases or decreases (according to your size) only in the stitches located between the center front and the center back on each side of the piece. Adjust within this area as needed until you reach a total of 43 (43, 46, 50, 53, 53) stitches at the neckline before beginning the straps.
Straps
When the top reaches the indicated length, begin the straps. Repeat from * to * until the strap measures 5.5 in (14 cm).
Fasten off the strap stitches. Reattach yarn if necessary and ch to measure 8 in (20 cm). Fasten off.
Finishing
Work one row of edging along the back neckline and armholes following the chart, and fasten off.
Make a chain using 2 strands held together, measuring 63 in (160 cm), and fasten off. Thread the chain lace-style between the stitches along the straight back neckline and through the first row of the skirt.
