• Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 (7.05 oz - 200g) - 1 skein in color 5718 (Military Green);

• Círculo Crochet Hook US H-8 (5 mm);

• Scissors; Measuring tape;

• 1 piece of cinnamon stick.

Execution

Base: with Natural Cotton 4/6 yarn in Natural color, start with a magic ring and work in continuous rounds, without closing the rounds.

Rnd 2: join Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn in Amber color in the 2-ch space from the previous round, start with 2 ch, 1 hdc, 2 ch and 2 hdc in the same space, 2 ch, skip 2 sts, 2 hdc, 2 ch and 2 hdc in the same space, 2 ch, skip 2 sts rep from to 2 x, close with sl st. Continue following chart 2, work in continuous rounds, making the color changes, fasten off. Make 6 identical motifs.

Lid motif: with Natural Cotton 4/6 yarn in Natural color, start with a magic ring.

Rnd 1: start with 2 ch, 1 hdc, 2 ch, 2 hdc, 2 ch rep from to 1 x, close with sl st, fasten off.

Rnd 2: join Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn in Amber color in the 2-ch space from the previous round, start with 2 ch, 1 hdc, 2 ch and 2 hdc in the same space, 2 ch, skip 2 sts, 2 hdc, 2 ch and 2 hdc in the same space, 2 ch, skip 2 sts rep from to 1 x, close with sl st. Continue following chart 3, work in continuous rounds, making the color changes, fasten off. Make 6 identical motifs.

Joining: Side: with Natural Cotton 4/6 yarn in Natural color, join the side motifs by connecting the sides of 2 motifs on the right side of the piece with 1 sl st, 1 ch rep from to until the end of the side joining, fasten off. Repeat the joining for all side motifs, forming a circle, following the assembly chart.

Bottom: with Natural Cotton 4/6 yarn in Natural color, join the lower part of the motifs to the base on the right side of the piece with 1 sl st, 1 ch rep from to around the entire base, fasten off.

Lid: with Natural Cotton 4/6 yarn in Natural color, join the side motifs by connecting the sides of 2 motifs on the right side of the piece with 1 sl st, 1 ch rep from to until the end of the side joining, fasten off. Repeat the joining for all lid motifs, forming a circle following the assembly chart. Close the center of the lid with a reverse magic ring and place a piece of cinnamon stick in the center.

Finishing: join Natural Cotton 4/6 yarn in Natural color to the upper edge of the pumpkin’s side.  Rnd 1: work 1 sc into each stitch around, close with sl st. Rnd 2: start with 1 sl st, 1 ch rep from to until the end of the round, close with sl st, fasten off. Work the finishing the same way along the lid’s edge, fasten off.
