  • Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4 - 2 skeins in color 7684 (Porcelain);

  • Encanto Slim (3.53 oz - 100g) - 1 skein in color 7122 (Liquid Gold);

  • Crochet Hook C-2 (3.0 mm);

  • Scissors;

  • Measuring Tape.

 

Yield: 4 skeins of 3.53 oz (100g) Duna yarn make 2 pieces.

Execution


Placemat: using Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4 yarn in Porcelain, start with a mr.

1st row: ch 3, 9 dc, join with sl st.

2nd row: ch 3, 1 dc in the same base st, 9 dc inc, join with sl st.

3rd row: ch 3, 1 dc inc, 1 dc, 1 dc inc; repeat from to 8x, join with sl st. Continue working in rounds, changing colors as indicated, up to the 24th round.

25th round: ch 3, 1 dc, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, skip 3 base sts; repeat from to until the end of the round, join with sl st.

26th round: sl st to reach the 3-ch space, ch 3, 2 dc, 1 picot, and 3 dc in the same base space, work down the side of the 2nd dc of the 25th round with 4 dc, work 2 dc between the 2 base dc, work up the side of the 1st dc with 4 dc, skip 2 base sts, over the 3-ch space work 3 dc, 1 picot, and 3 dc in the same base space, work down the side of the 2nd dc of the 25th round with 4 dc, work 2 dc between the 2 base dc, work up the side of the 1st dc with 4 dc, skip 2 base sts; repeat from to until the end of the round, join with sl st.


Continue following Diagram 1, working in rounds and changing colors as indicated. Fasten off.
