Materials:

3 Anne yarn rolls (147 g / 5.1 oz) – Color: #7650 (Almond);

Círculo crochet hook 3.0 mm;

Círculo tapestry needle;

Círculo colored markers;

Tracing paper;

Pencil; Scissors; Measuring tape.

 

Stitch Glossary & Abbreviations: st.: stitch, sts.: stitches, r.: row/round, diag.: diagram, mot.: motif, ch.: chain, sl st.: slip stitch, dc.: double crochet, dc2tog.: 2 double crochets closed together in the same base stitch, fantasy stitch (A): follow diag. 1, fantasy stitch (B): follow diag. 2, fantasy stitch (C): follow diag. 3, fantasy stitch (D): follow diag. 4.

 

Gauge: a 4-inch (10 cm) square in fantasy stitch A (diag. 1) with a 3.0 mm hook = 24 sts. x 10 rows.

 

Instructions:


Transfer the patterns to tracing paper to use as a reference while making the piece. Pay attention to the arrows in the measurement chart, as they indicate the direction of the work.

 

Upper Front: use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and Anne yarn in Almond color. Start the piece from the neckline, working in back-and-forth rows. Make a foundation chain of 31 ch., then work in fantasy st. (A) following diag. 1 and the repeat sts. from R1 to R14. Fasten off and set the piece aside.


Upper Back: work the same way as the upper front.


Joining the Upper Sections: join the upper front and upper back along the lower side edges using a tapestry needle and basting stitches.


Dress Body: work the front and back as a single piece in circular rounds. Work in fantasy st. (B) following diag. 2 and the repeat sts. from R15 to R81. Follow the stitch motifs per row as indicated: R15 to R25: 40 mot.; R26 to R39: 44 mot.; R40 to R49: 47 mot.; R50 to R55: 51 mot.; R56 to R59: 57 mot.; R60 to R66: 62 mot.; R68 to R73: 68 mot.; R74 to R81: 70 mot.; Now, use the colored markers to demarcate the 12 central motifs on the front and the 12 central motifs on the back.


Right-Side Triangle of the Dress: use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and Anne yarn in Almond color. Attach the yarn in R81 over (23 mot.) and work in fantasy st. (C) following diag.3 from R82 to R103.


Left-Side Triangle of the Dress: use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and Anne yarn in Almond color. Attach the yarn in R81 over (23 mot.) and work in fantasy st. (C) following diag. 3 from R82 to R103.


Straps: use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and Anne yarn in Almond color. Attach the yarn to the upper front section and work each strap separately in fantasy st. (D) following diag. 4 from R104 to R115. Join the strap to the back section with sl st.; Make the other strap the same way.
