Materials

3 (3, 4, 5, 5, 6) balls of Clea - color 8001.

1 ball of Clea - color 3401.

Crochet hook 1.75mm.

Gauge: 16 dc x 7 R = 4”/10 using hook 1.75 mm.

Execution

Transfer measurement chart to paper to guide you along. Arrows indicate direction.

Pattern notes

Front & back are worked simultaneously. The entire piece is worked:* 1 row in red, 1 row in white*, 1 row in red.

Start at yoke. Use red and Ch 56 (64, 72, 80, 80, 88), close and follow yoke chart until you have 176 (200, 226, 260, 260, 286) sts, then continue without increases until row 16 (16, 16, 18, 18, 18).

Once chart is finished, shape armhole as follows: work 66 (75, 85, 97, 97, 107) sts, ch 22 (25, 28, 33, 33, 36), sk 22 (25, 28, 33, 33, 36) base sts, work 66 (75, 85, 97, 97, 107) sts, ch 22 (25, 28, 33, 33, 36), sk 22 (25, 28, 33, 33, 36) base sts, close and crochet in the round.

Continue as follows:

12 (12, 12, 12, 12, 12) times from * to * following chart 4

4 (4, 4, 4, 4, 4) times from * to * following chart 3

3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) times from * to * following chart 2

9 (10, 10, 10, 10, 10) times from * to * following chart 1

Fasten off.
