BASED ON A BUST SIZE OF:

32–34, (36–38, 40–42, 44–46), 48–50 and 52–54 in. /

81-86, (91-96, 101-106, 111-117), 122-127 and 132-137 cm

 

MATERIAL:

SUGGESTED HOOK: 

Círculo US E / 3.5 mm crochet hook.

YARDAGE:

4, (5, 5, 6), 6 and 7 Círculo Sugar Pop skeins (290 yds / 265 m, 3.52 oz / 100 g), sample in color 9201 - Dry Leaf.

NOTIONS:

·         Measuring Tape.

·         Tapestry needle.

·         Scissors..

 

STITCHES USED:

·         Pattern stitch: Chart A

·         Increase pattern stitch: Chart B

·         Chain (ch)

·         Slip stitch (sl st): Insert the hook, yarn over, pull through the stitch and the loop on the hook.

·         Single crochet (sc): Insert the hook, yarn over, pull through a loop, yarn over again, and pull through both loops on the hook.

·         Double crochet (dc): Yarn over, insert the hook, yarn over, pull through a loop, yarn over again, pull through two loops, and yarn over once more to pull through the remaining two loops.

·         Crab stitch: Work single crochets from left to right.


GAUGE: 13 sts x 20 rows = 4 x 4 in / 10x10 cm in seed stitch flat.

 

Execution


FRONT AND BACK ARE WORKED THE SAME:

Ch 97, (107, 119, 131), 143 and 155, plus ch 3 chains to turn, and work in pattern stitch following the Chart A until you have 4.7 in / 12 cm from the ch edge.

Work Chart B on each side.

Once the increases are complete, continue in pattern stitch for another 8.7 in / 22 cm.

Fasten off.

Make another piece the same.

 

FINISHING

Sew the shoulders for 10¼, (11, 12¼, 13¾), 15, 17 in / 26, (28, 31, 35), 38, 43 cm on each side, leaving 7¾, (, 10¼, 10¾), 11¾, 11¾ in / 20, (24, 26, 27), 30, 30 cm in the center unsewn for the neckline.

Sew the sides at the increases, 8¾, (, 10¼, 11½), 13, 14¼ in / 22, (24, 26, 29), 33, 36 cm on each side of the shoulder seams unsewn for the sleeves.

Work one round of crab stitch around the neckline and sleeves, then fasten off.

Weave in your ends with tapestry needle. Wet block and let lay to dry.
