DYE CLEAN The Dye Clean technique has been adapted in an innovative way and today we are the only Brazilian yarn company that uses this process to dye some colors of our yarns. It allows the water of the same bath to be used for various dyeing without the need to be fully exchanged, which generates a savings of 90.92% of water in the yarns in which the process was implemented. SOME SUCCESSFUL ACHIEVEMENTS With the implementation of Dye Clean REDUCE THE SALINIZATION OF EFFLUENT SENT TO ITAJAÍ-AÇU RIVER Reduction in the disposal of organic and inorganic products with the reuse of dyeing baths. In this context, Círculo remains a pioneer company, being the only one to dye mercerized yarns with this technology in Brazil, reinforcing its position in the market as an innovative company. REDUCE THE CAPTURE OF WATER FROM ITAJAÍ-AÇU Although DYE CLEAN cannot be used in the production of all the yarns we produce, it already represents a very significant reduction in the amount of water that is captured from the Itajaí-Açu River. REDUCE THE CONSUMPTION OF CHEMICALS The adaptation of this process to yarn dyeing was a challenge, but it brought an impact on the reduction of chemical consumption: in one year, Círculo stopped using 90t of these products. REDUCE SLUDGE GENERATION A direct consequence of the decrease in the consumption of chemicals is the reduction of the generation and transport of sludge. The program adapts the GHG Protocol method to the Brazilian context and is responsible for developing tools that assist in the calculation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
