Materials

Circulo Bossa Nova in color 3480 and 9979: 1 skein each 

J/6.0 mm crochet hook

Scissors

Yarn needle

Blocking mat & pins

Finished Measurements 

After blocked and edges sewn together (so piece is in half while measuring)

9” x 16.5” 

Abbreviations

Ch - chain

St - stitch

Sts - stitches

Sl st - slip stitch

Sc - single crochet

Hdc - half double crochet

Dc - double crochet

Rep - repeat

Sk - skip

Pattern Instructions

With color 3480, ch 33

Row 1: Sk 2 chs (counts as 1 sc), work [1 hdc, 1 dc] into the next ch, sk 2 chs, work [1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc] into the next ch; rep from to the last 3 chs, sk 2 chs, 1 sc into the last ch, turn. 

Row 2: Ch 1 (counts as 1 sc), work [1 hdc, 1 dc] into the 1st st, sk 1 dc and 1 hdc, work [1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc] into the next sc; rep from to the last 3 sts, sk [1 dc and 1 hdc], 1 sc into the top of the turning ch, turn. 

Repeat Row 2 two more times, then switch to color 9979.

Repeat Row 2 four times, then switch back to color 3480. Repeat pattern in this manner, changing colors after every fourth row. Finish off when you have a total of 20 “stripes” which will equal out to 80 rows. 

Block your piece, then sew the ends together.
