MATERIAL:
5 skein of Seaside in each color– Colors: 8001 (White) and 615 (Ball Blue);
Círculo crochet hook – size 2,5 mm.
Stitches used: Chain (ch). Single crochet (sc): yarn over, insert the hook, pull up a loop, yarn over again, and pull through both loops. Half double crochet (hdc): yarn over, insert the hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, and pull through all three loops. Double crochet (dc): yarn over, insert the hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, and pull through the last two loops. Stitch pattern: follow the chart. Edging: follow the chart.
Sample: a 4-inch (10 cm) square in sc with the 2,5 hook = 31 sts x 12 rows.
Execution
Front and back – They are worked together. With the 615 (Ball Blue), make a chain of 240 sts, join to form a circle, and work in stitch pattern following the chart. Repeat from to in the direction of the sts (60 rows). Work in the following color order: 8 rows of 615 (Ball Blue), 8 rows of 8001 (White), 8 rows of 615 (Ball Blue). After 16.5 inches (42 cm) from the beginning, divide the work into two equal parts (front/back) and work each side separately.
Back – Continue with the back sts, in stitch pattern following the chart and in the requested color order. For the armholes edges, decrease at each side on each row: 5 sts, 3 sts (2 times), and 1 st. After 25.2 inches (64 cm) from the beginning of the work, bind off.
Front – Resume the front sts and continue in stitch pattern following the chart and in the requested color order. For the armhole edges, decrease at each side on each row: 5 sts, 3 sts (2 times), and 1 st. After 18.9 inches (48 cm) from the beginning of the work, for the neckline, bind off the center 16 sts and work each side separately. For the neckline side, decrease 1 st on each row (10 times). After 25.2 inches (64 cm) from the beginning of the work, bind off.
Finishing – Sew the shoulders. With the 615 (Ball Blue) yarn, work the edging around the neckline, armholes, and lower hem of the tank top following the chart, and bind off.
