Materials: Lucky Feet yarn – 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) skeins in color 8079 (Salty Caramel). US 6 (4.0 mm) and US 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles.
Stitches used and abbreviations: The terms in parentheses ( ) are the abbreviations used throughout the pattern. Needle (needle). Stitch (st). Row (Row). Bind off (BO). Knit (k). Purl (p). Decrease (dec). Yarn over (yo). Skein (skein). Knit (k). Times (x). 3 × 3 Rib: k3, p3, k3. Double Seed Stitch: Row 1: k1, p1. Row 2 and all even-numbered rows: Work the stitches as they appear. Row 3: p1, k1.
Gauge: A 4 in (10 cm) square in double seed stitch using US 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles = 27 sts × 32 rows.
Front/Back/Sleeves – Worked as one piece.
Using US 6 (4.0 mm) needles, cast on 246 (270, 294, 318, 342) sts and work in 3 × 3 rib.
When the rib measures 3¼ in (8 cm), change to US 7 (4.5 mm) needles and continue in double seed stitch following the stitch pattern.
When the piece measures 23 in (58 cm) [24½ in (62 cm), 25¼ in (64 cm), 26 in (66 cm), 27 in (68 cm)], change back to US 6 (4.0 mm) needles and work in 3 × 3 rib.
When the total length measures 26 in (66 cm) [27½ in (70 cm), 28¼ in (72 cm), 29 in (74 cm), 30 in (76 cm)], bind off.
Finishing
Fold the rectangle in half lengthwise.
Sew 7 in (18 cm) [7⅞ in (20 cm), 8¾ in (22 cm), 9½ in (24 cm), 10¼ in (26 cm)] along each side from the cast-on edge, leaving an opening of 5½ in (14 cm) [5⅞ in (15 cm), 6¼ in (16 cm), 6¾ in (17 cm), 7 in (18 cm)] for the armholes.
