Execution

Transfer the patterns onto tracing paper to use as a reference when making the piece. Pay attention to the arrows in the measurement diagram, which indicate the direction of the work.

Dress (1st step): use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and Seaside yarn in the color Coral. Start the piece at the hem (left side) and work the front and back at the same time. Make a cord of 237(267, 297, 330, 360, 390) ch., join with a sl st. to close the loop. Over this ch., work in circular rounds following diag. 1 (1st step) from rows 1 to 15.

“Continue working in circular rounds, but now following diag 1 (2nd step) from row 16 to row 41 (42, 42, 44, 45, 47).

After completing this stage, place the colorful markers to help organize the piece as follows: left side, front, right side, back, and finish on the other half of the left side. Continue working in back-and-forth rows, following diag. 1 (2nd step) from rows 42(43, 43, 45, 46, 48) to 68(71, 72, 76, 78, 82).

In the following row, switch back to circular rounds and follow diag. 1 (2nd step) from row 69(72, 73, 77, 79, 83) to row 83(86, 87, 91, 93, 97).

Fold the piece in half to determine the front and back. Continue each side separately in back-and-forth rows, following diag. 1 (2nd step) from row 84(87, 88, 92,94, 98) to row 107(112, 116, 121, 125, 130).

Shoulder Finishing: use a tapestry needle and Seaside yarn in the color Coral to join the shoulders 3(4, 5, 6, 7, 8) cm / 1.25(1.5, 2, 2.25, 2.75, 3.25)” with running stitches.

Finishing Edge: use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and Seaside yarn in the color Coral to work one row of sc. around the armholes, neckline, and hem. Work in circular rounds and close each rnd. with a sl st.

Left Side Finishing: use a tapestry needle and Seaside yarn in the color Coral to sew the left side opening (10 cm / 4”) below the armhole. Leave the armhole opening at 16(17, 19, 20, 21, 22) cm / 6.25(6.75, 7.5, 7.75, 8.25, 8.75)” and the zipper opening at 18(19, 20, 21, 22, 23) cm / 7(7.5, 7.75, 8.25, 8.75, 9)”.

Lining and Zipper: cut the lining according to your body measurements, based on the dress pattern. Attach the lining to the piece using a sewing needle no. 2 and Maxxi retrós thread in Coral, sewing only at the shoulders 3(4, 5, 6, 7, 8) cm / 1.25(1.5, 2, 2.25, 2.75, 3.25)”. For the 18(19, 20, 21, 22, 23) cm / 7(7.5, 7.75, 8.25, 8.75, 9)” opening, baste the zipper in place.
