Materials:

Sugar Cane - 4 hanks in the color 5164 (Busch Green);

Bamboo 6.00 mm interchangeable circular needles and 80 cm cable;

Circulo 2.5 mm crochet hook;

Wax paper;

Pencil;

Scissors;

Measuring tape.

 

Abbreviations: WS: wrong side; RS: right side, k2tog: knit 2 stitches together; yo: yarn over; st(s): stitch(es); FO: fasten off; CO: cast-on; SC: single crochet.


Stitches used in the shawl: follow chart 1.


Crochet stitch used: single crochet


Gauge: 10 x 10 cm square, in pattern with 6.00 mm needles = 15 sts x 28 rows.


Instructions


Transfer the molds to wax paper to use as reference when working on the piece. Pay attention to the arrows in the measurements chart that represent the direction of the work.


Shawl: CO 3 sts using Sugar Cane in the color Busch Green and 6.00 mm circular needles. Start at the bottom of the shawl, working flat. Follow chart 1 for rows 1-196. Note: the chart represents only the RS rows of the shawl (odd rows); all WS rows (even ones) should be made purling all sts.


Crochet finishing border: make 1 row of SC around the shawl using the yarn Sugar Cane in the color Busch Green and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
