Materials: 1 hank of Lucky Feet in cor 9188; Bamboo 3.00 mm circular needles and 60 cm cable; Circulo stitch holder; Circulo tapestry needle; scissors; measuring tape.
Abbreviations: CO: cast-on; BO: bind-off; st: stitch; sts: stitches; k: knit; fol.: follow/following; YO: yarn over.
Stitches used in the pattern: 1x1 rib: follow chart 1; lace pattern: follow chart 2; heel: follow chart 3; stockinette: follow chart 4; k2togtbl: k 2 sts tog. through the back loop, k3togtbl: k 3 sts tog. through the back loop; bobble: k the bobble st represented in the chart in the following way: in the same st make (1p, 1 yo, 1p), turn the work to the RS and k all 3 sts, turn the work to the WS and p all 3 sts, turn the work again to the RS and k3togtbl so you only have 1 st again. Turn again to the WS, sl the bobble to the right needle and keep following the chart.
Gauge: 10 x 10 cm square in stockinette (chart 3), using 3.00 mm needles = 26 sts. x 40 rows.
Execution: transfer the molds into wax paper to use as a reference while making the piece. Pay attention to the arrows in the chart indicating the direction of the work. Knit flat.
Right foot: CO 52 sts Lucky Feet in the color autumn flower and 3.00 mm needles. Start by the cuff making 1x1 rib fol. chart 1 for 4 cm. Proceed by knitting the lace pattern (chart 2) for 16 cm. In the next row, place 26 sts from the instep (upper portion of the foot) into the st holder to work on them later. Keep the remaining 26 sts on the 3.00 mm needles and knit the heel fol. chart 3 for rows 1-16. On row 17, pick up and k 7 sts on each side of the heel so you have 26 sts in total. Keep working on the sole in stockinette (chart 4) for another 16 cm. BO all sts. Place the remaining 26 sts back into the working needles. K the lace pattern (chart 2) for 16 cm. Then follow chart 4 and k in stockinette for another 5 cm. BO all sts.
Finishing: with a tapestry needle and Lucky Feet in the color autumn flower, seam the sides of the sock (16 cm) using kitchener st. Seam the toe (9,5 cm).
Left foot: identical to right foot.
