Materials:

2 skeins of Lucky Feet – Color: 9188 (Autumn Flower);

US 6 circular bamboo needle with stainless steel cable (length: 31.5 in / 80 cm);

Tapestry needle;

Crochet hook (2 pieces);

Tracing paper;

Pencil;

Scissors;

Measuring tape.

Stitches used: 2/2 rib: follow diagram 1, pattern stitch: follow diagram 2, edge: follow diagram 3.

Gauge: a US 6 circular needle (4.0 mm) swatch of 4 in (10 cm) in pattern stitch (diagram 2) = 24 sts × 36 rows

Execution

Transfer the templates to tracing paper to use as a reference when making the piece. Follow the arrows on the measurement diagram indicating the work direction. Knit all pieces back and forth in rows.

Back: Using Lucky Feet yarn in Autumn Flower, cast on 110 sts on a US 6 (4.0 mm) circular needle. Begin the piece in 2/2 rib, following diagram 1, and repeat the sts for 2 in (5 cm). On the next row, continue the piece in pattern stitch, following diagram 2 and the rep sts. At 11.8 in (30 cm) in length, begin the raglan armholes as follows: 6 edge sts (diagram 3), 98 sts (diagram 2), 6 edge sts (diagram 3). Follow the diagrams and the rep sts. Begin the raglan armholes by dec on each side every 2 rows: 2 sts (6 times) and 1 st (11 times) before and after the edges. At 15.7 in (40 cm) in length, place the remaining 64 sts on a crochet hook to continue later with the neckline. Set the piece aside.

Front: Work as for the back.

Neckline: Using Lucky Feet yarn in Autumn Flower, pick up the 64 sts from the back, 20 sts along the edges on a US 6 (4.0 mm) circular needle, pick up the 64 sts from the front, and 20 sts along the edges on the needle, for a total of 168 sts. Knit the neckline in 2/2 rib, following diagram 1 and the repeat sts, for 1.2 in (3 cm). Bo all sts.

Assembly: Using a tapestry needle and Lucky Feet yarn in Autumn Flower, sew the seams with basting stitches. Join the sleeves to the body at the armholes for 3.9 in (10 cm). Sew the side seams of the body 12.6 in (32 cm) and the neckline 1.2 in (3 cm).
