Instructions
Transfer the molds to wax paper to use as reference when making the piece. Pay attention to the arrows on the measurements chart indicating the direction of the work. Work all panels flat.
Back: cast-on 86 sts using Aloe Vera in the color Bordeaux and 5.0 mm circular needles and work in 1x1 rib for 10 cm, following chart 1. Proceed in stockinette, following chart 2 for 38 cm. Then, work as follows: 6 edge sts (chart 3), 74 sts (chart 4), 6 edge sts (chart 3); decrease 1 st on each side every 3 rows, 7 times in total, 6 sts away from the edges. At 57 cm from the CO edge, BO all sts and reserve the panel.
Front: cast-on 86 sts using Aloe Vera in the color Bordeaux and 5.0 mm circular needles and work in 1x1 rib for 10 cm, following chart 1. Proceed in stockinette, following chart 2 until the work measures 38 cm. Next, BO the 4 center sts and work on each side separately (41 sts on each side). Decrease simultaneously for the armholes and neckline: for the armholes, decrease 1 st on each side every 3 rows, 7 times in total, 6 sts away from the edges. For the neckline, decrease 1 st every 2nd row on the neckline edge only, 16 times in total. Work in pattern until the work measures 57 cm from the CO edge, then BO the remaining 18 sts on each side and reserve the panel.
Sleeve: cast-on 56 sts using Aloe Vera in the color Bordeaux and 5.0 mm circular needles and work in 1x1 rib for 8 cm, following chart 1. Proceed in stockinette, following chart 2 until the work measures 15 cm. Next, make 1 increase on each edge every 6th row, 5 times in total- you should end with 66 sts. At 44 cm from the CO edge, decrease 1 st on each edge every 2nd row, 16 times in total. Work until the work measures 54 cm from the CO edge and BO the remaining 2 sts. Make the second sleeve in the same way and reserve them.
Assembling: using a tapestry needle and Aloe Vera in the color bordeaux, seam the shoulders (15 cm) and the sides of the body (38 cm), leaving 19 cm unseamed for the armholes. Seam the sleeves and attach them to the armholes.
Collar: using 125 sts using Aloe Vera in the color Bordeaux and 5.0 mm circular needles, pick up and k 125 sts around the neckline- 29 sts on the back neck and 48 sts on each side of the front. Work in 1x1 rib, following chart 1. To create the V shape in the front, make a CDD every 2nd row, 7 times in total. Work for 7 cm, then BO all sts, leaving a 20 cm yarn tail. Thread the tail through a tapestry needle and seam the collar (7 cm).
