Sizes: S (M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)

 

Materials:

Merino Sweet:

•      2 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins color 20 (Natural);  

•      1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skein color 4283 (Citrus)

•      1 skein color 3022 (Raspberry)

•      1 skein color 4095 (Rum)

•      1 skein color 5007 (Juniper);

5.0 mm bamboo circular needles with an 80 cm/30 in cable;

Cable needles;

Tapestry needle;

Wax paper;

Pencil;

Scissors;

Measuring tape.


Abbreviations:

•      st: stitch,

•      sts: stitches,

•      CO: cast-on,

•      BO: bind-off,

•      k: knit,

•      in: inch(es),

•      rep: repeat;

•      WS: wrong side,

•      RS: right side.

 

Knitting stitches used:

•      garter stitch: knit on every row- follow chart 1,

•      stockinette stitch: knit on the right side, purl on the wrong side- follow chart 2,

•      sl1wyif: slip 1 stitch with the yarn in front of the work.

 

Stitch Pattern:

•      stitch pattern A: follow chart 3,

•      stitch pattern B: follow chart 4,

•      stitch pattern C: follow chart. 5,

 

Gauge: 4 x 4 in in stockinette stitch, using 5.0 mm needles = 15 sts x 19 rows.


Execution


Transfer the molds to wax paper to use as reference when making the piece. Pay attention to the arrows on the measurement chart indicating the direction of the work. Knit all rows flat.


Back: using Merino Sweet 20 (Natural), cast-on 66 (70, 76, 82, 86, 90) sts on the 5.0 mm circular needles. Start at the bottom, working in garter stitch for 2 rows. Proceed in stockinette stitch until the panel measures 20.8 (21.6, 22.4, 23.2, 24, 24.8) in / 53 (55, 57, 59, 61, 63) cm from the CO edge, then work as follows:

•      21 (23, 24, 25, 27, 28) sts in chart 2,

•      24 (24, 28, 32, 32, 34) sts in chart 1,

•      21 (23, 24, 25, 27, 28) sts in chart 2.


At 22 (22.8, 23.6, 24.4, 25.2, 26) in / 56 (58, 60, 62, 64, 66) cm from the CO edge, BO all sts. Reserve the panel.


Left front: using Merino Sweet 20 (Natural), cast-on 30 (33, 36, 38, 41, 42) sts on the 5.0 mm circular needles. Start at the bottom, working in garter stitch for 2 rows. Proceed in the stitch pattern A, following chart 3.


At 22 (22.8, 23.6, 24.4, 25.2, 26) in / 56 (58, 60, 62, 64, 66) cm from the CO edge, BO all sts. Reserve the panel.


Right front: Make the right front in the same way.


Shoulder assembling: using a tapestry needle and Merino Sweet 20 (Natural), seam the shoulders 5.6 ( 6, 6.2. 6.6, 7, 7.4) in / 14 (15, 16, 17, 18, 19) cm.


Sleeve: use Merino Sweet 20 (Natural). Pick-up and k 60 (63, 66, 69, 72, 75) sts around the armhole using 5.0 mm needles, starting at the underarm. Change colors and the stitch patterns as follows:

•      Start with Natural and follow chart 2 for 6 in / 15 cm;

•      Follow chart 5 in Citrus for 7.8 (8.2, 8.2, 8.2, 8.6, 9) in / 20 (21, 21, 21, 22, 23) cm;

•      Follow chart 2 in Natural for 1 in / 2.5 cm;

•      Follow chart 5 in Rum for 2.7 in / 7 cm;

•      Follow chart 2 in Natural for 1 in / 2.5 cm;

•      Follow chart 5 in Juniper for 2 in / 5 cm;

•      Follow chart 2 in Raspberry for 2.7 in / 7 cm. In the last row decrease 30 (30, 30, 30, 31, 33) sts, ending with 30 (33, 36, 39, 41, 42) sts.

•      Follow chart 1 in Raspberry for 1 in / 2.5 cm. BO all sts.

Make the second sleeve in the same way.


Assembling: using a tapestry needle and Merino Sweet 20 (Natural), seam the sides of the body in mattress stitch.


Seam the sleeves 24.4 (24.8, 24.8, 24.8, 25.2, 25.6) in / 62 (63, 63, 63, 64, 65) cm using Merino Sweet in the corresponding colors used on each strap.
