Charming Pink Blouse

Charming and romantic!

This blouse was made with Charme yarn 100% Brazilian cotton



SIZES:

S, (M, L, XL), 2L and 3L.


BASED ON A BUST SIZE OF:

32–34, (36–38, 40–42, 44–46), 48–50 and 52–54 in /81–86, (91–96, 101–106, 111–117), 122–127 and 132–137 cm


MATERIALS

2, (2, 3, 3), 4, 4 balls of Charme – color Candy Rose, #3526;

Circulo Knitting needles US 10 / 6 mm, or size needed to achieve gauge;

Tapestry needle;

Crochet hook 2 mm;

Scissors;

Measuring tape;

Stitch Markers.


STITCH GLOSSARY & ABBREVIATIONS

CO: cast on

BO: bind off

rep: repeat

Crab st: sc worked from left to right


GAUGE

24 sts x 24 rows = 4 x 4 in. / 10 cm in 2 x 2 Rib using US 10 / 6 mm needles, or size needed to achieve gauge.


EXECUTION

The blouse is knit in the round from the neckline downward.

Place a marker before the first stitch to indicate the BOR.


BACK

CO 92 (100, 108, 116), 124, 132 sts onto US 10 / 6 mm needles and work in 2 x 2 Rib – following Chart 1 and rep sts for 1.5 in / 4 cm and then follow Pattern A - Chart 2 and rep sts.

At 12 in. / 30.5 cm from the beginning start armhole decreases on each side every 2 rows: 2 sts × 20 (22, 24, 26), 28, 30 times.

At 19 (19.5, 20, 20.5), 21, 21.5 in / 48 (50, 51, 52), 53, 55 cmBind off all sts.


FRONT

Work as the back.

CO 92 (100, 108, 116), 124, 132 sts onto US 10 / 6 mm needles and work in 2 x 2 Rib – following Chart 1 and rep sts for 1.5 in / 4 cm and then follow Pattern A - Chart 2 and rep sts.

At 12 in. / 30.5 cm from the beginning start armhole decreases on each side every 2 rows: 2 sts × 20 (22, 24, 26), 28, 30 times.

At 19 (19.5, 20, 20.5), 21, 21.5 in / 48 (50, 51, 52), 53, 55 cmBind off all sts.

 

SLEEVES

CO 44 (48, 52, 56), 60, 64 sts onto S 10 / 6 mm needles and work in 2x2 Rib – follow chart 1 and rep sts for 1.5 in / 4 cm. Increase 1 st in the last 2x2 Rib row = 45 (49, 53, 57), 61, 65 sts.

Follow Pattern (B) - chart 3 and rep sts.

At every 28 rows Pattern (B) inc on each side 6 sts 3 (3, 4, 4), 5, 5 times.Final sleeve st count: 81 (85, 101, 105), 121, 125 sts.

Bind off at 23.25 (23.75, 24.25, 24.75), 25.25, 25.75 in / 59 (60, 62, 63), 64, 65 cm.

Make the other sleeve and set them aside.

 

ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING

Use tapestry needle to close sides 12.25 (12.75, 13.25, 13.75), 14.25, 14.75 in/ 31 (32, 34, 35), 36, 37 cm, sew sleeves on the back and front, as shown in the assembly chart.

Sew diagonally the straight part of the sleeve with green lines on front and back, then close sleeves.

Use crochet hook 2mm to work 1 row in Crab st around neckline.
