BASED ON A BUST SIZE OF:

32–34, (36–38, 40–42, 44–46), 48–50 and 52–54 in. /

81-86, (91-96, 101-106, 111-117), 122-127 and 132-137 cm

Materials:

8 skeins of Bossa Nova – Color: 9601 (Cappuccino);

US 10 / 6 mm, or size needed to achieve gauge.

Círculo Circular needle US 10 / 6 mm and 24" / 60 cm cable.

YARDAGE:

8, (9, 11, 12), 12 and 13 skeins of Bossa Nova (3.52 oz / 100 g  –  169 yds / 155 m) sample in color 9601 – Cappuccino.

NOTIONS:

Measuring Tape.

Stitch Marker.

Tapestry needle.

Scissors.

STITCHES USED:

2x2 rib: k2, [p2, k2]. 

Pattern stitch: follow the chart.

GAUGE: 

13 sts x 22 rows = 4" x 4" / 10x10 cm in the chart pattern.

ABBREVIATIONS:

r.: row, st(s).: stitch(es), k.: knit, p.: purl, RS: right side, WS: wrong side, [...].: repetition, CO.: cast on, BOR.: begining of the round.

Execution

FRONT AND BACK ARE WORKED THE SAME:

CO 72, (80, 88, 96), 96, 104 sts on size, work in 2x2 rib until you have 4" / 10 cm from the CO edge.

Knit in pattern stitch following the chart.

After 27.6" / 70 cm from the CO edge, bind off all the stitches in pattern. Make another piece the same.

SLEEVES

CO 32, (40, 48, 48), 48, 56 sts work in 2x2 rib until you have 3.1" / 8 cm from the CO edge.

Knit in pattern stitch following the chart.

After 17", (17", 17", 17"), 18", 18" in. / 43, (43, 44, 44), 45, 45 cm from the CO edge, bind off all the stitches in pattern.

Make another piece the same.

FINISHING

Sew the shoulders together for 4", (4.3", 4.7", 5.5"), 5.5", 7.5" in. / 10, (11, 12, 14), 14, 19 cm each edge, leaving 17.7", (19.7", 21.7", 23.6"), 23.6", 24" in. / 45, (50, 55, 60), 60, 61 cm unsewn in the center for the neckline. 

With the circular needle, facing your RS, pick and knit up around 92, (100, 112, 120), 120, 128 sts along the neckline opening, place a BOR marker and close the row to knit in the round.

Work in 2x2 rib for 9.1" in. / 23 cm from where the sts were picked up, bind off all the sts in pattern.

Sew the sleeves to the front and back panels, then sew the side and underarm seams, leaving the body and cuff ribbing open.
