Assembly instructions

Fold the bag body in half so that the rows run vertically. Position the side panels on each side of the bag and secure them in place with stitch markers.

Using two strands of pink yarn held together, join the panels to the bag by working single crochet stitches through both layers around each side panel. Repeat for the opposite side panel, then continue working single crochet stitches evenly around the top edge of the bag.

Switch to two strands of orange yarn held together and work 1 round of single crochet around the entire bag, including the side panels.

Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Handle instructions - make 2

With two strands of pink and two strands of orange held together

Ch 80

Row 1: 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.

Row 2-4: 1 sc in the first st and in each st across. Ch 1, turn.

Eliminate ch 1 on your last row. Finish off, weave in ends.

Fold the strap in half lengthwise, leaving 2 inches at each end unfolded (you can mark these sections with stitch markers). Whip stitch along the folded edges to secure the strap.

Position the strap on the bag where desired, then sew the unfolded 2-inch sections at each end securely to the bag.
