Level of difficulty 08/30/2024 The Magic Sweater is a Raglan Top Down project with a sporty feeling. The project starts flat for the neckline and is joined in the round after a few rows into the raglan. The neckline will shape after blocking. Sizes  Sizes: I, II, III (IV, V, VI, VII) - 84, 88, 96 (104, 112, 124, 136) cm / 33, 34.5, 37.75 (41, 44, 48.75, 53.5)” chest. - Follow the pattern and material according to the size placement in this list. Once blocked, place your two front panels on top of the back panel - right sides together - and whip stitch each panel along the top as well as ¾ a way up each side, making sure to leave an armhole opening. Once all pieces are attached, do 1 row of sc evenly around each arm hole and the inner panels/neckline. This ensures a nice looking finish. GAUGE 34 sts and 45 rows = 4” / 10 cm knit in stockinette stitch in the round and blocked. GUSSET Set up row (RS):  PM (this is your new BOR marker), pick up and knit 12 , 15 , 18 sts along the left edge of the heel flap inserting your needle inside the chain formed by the slipped sts. Work the 24 , 30 , 36 , instep sts in pattern, PM, pick up and knit 12 , 15 , 18 sts along the right edge of the heel flap, PM, k 8 , 10 , 12 ,   (these are the heel sts). Now we go back to work in the rnd. Rnd 1:   k all left gusset sts, work the   24 , 30 , 36 , instep sts in pattern , k all the right gusset sts, k all heel sts. Rnd 2:   k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before the m, k2tog, k1, work all   24 , 30 , 36 , instep sts in the pattern , SM, k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before the m, k2tog, k1, SM, k all heel sts. Repeat rnds 1 and 2 until you obtain 48 , 60 , 72  sts again, 24 , 30 , 36 , sts for the sole and 24 , 30 , 36 , sts for the instep . FOOT Keep working the 24 , 30 , 36  instep sts in pattern and the 24 , 30 , 36 sole sts in stockinette. Knit until you have a foot lenght 2” / 5 cm smaller than your actual foot, including the heel. A round yoke in garter with easy to follow increases. It is comfy and still fresh for spring days since Aloe Vera is a great yarn for summer projects.   As a top down project, it starts at the neckline with gradual increases throughout the rows. To make it easier, the yoke has been written in each size. Level of difficulty 08/30/2024 Stitches used 2x2 rib: k2., p2., k2 .  stockinette: k on the right side, p on the wrong side. Pompom: follow the package instructions .   Stitch pattern: follow the chart.     Gauge: 10 x 10 cm square using 5mm needles and following the st pattern from the chart = 25 sts x 28 rows.   Execution- Beanie : start at the bottom. Cast-on 102 stitches using 4 mm needles and knit in 2x2 rib until it measures 4 cm from the cast-on edge. Switch to 5 mm needles and follow the stitch pattern from the chart for another 18 cm.
