BASED ON A BUST SIZE OF:

32–34, (36–38, 40–42, 44–46), 48–50 and 52–54 in. /

81-86, (91-96, 101-106, 111-117), 122-127 and 132-137 cm


MATERIAL:

SUGGESTED NEEDLE: 

Círculo circular needle 40 in / 100 cm, US 10 / 6 mm or size needed to achieve gauge.

YARDAGE:

4, (4, 4, 5), 6 and 7 Círculo Brazilian Merino Sweet (328 yds / 300 m, 3.52 oz / 100 g), sample in color 8001 - White.

4, (5, 5, 6), 7 and 7 Círculo Brazilian Merino Sweet (328 yds / 300 m, 3.52 oz / 100 g), sample in color 8990 - Black.

NOTIONS:

·         Measuring Tape.

·         Tapestry needle.

·         Scissors.

 

STITCHES USED:

Stockinette Stitch (st st):

Row 1 (RS): [k]

Row 2 (WS): [p]

 

1/1 Ribbing (1/1 rib st):

Row 1 (RS): [p1, k1]

Row 2 (WS): [k1, p1]

 

Colorwork stitch pattern (Chart):

Follow the chart.

 

GAUGE: 18 sts x 16 rows. = 4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm in colorwork pattern st.


ABBREVIATIONS: r.: row, st(s).: stitch(es), k.: knit, p.: purl, RS: right side, WS: wrong side, [...].: repetition, CO.: cast on, BOR.: begining of the round. MC.: main color (8990). CC.: contrast color (8001).

 

Instructions


BACK

With MC, CO 82, (92, 96, 106), 116, 124 sts, work in 1/1 rib st for 1.57 in / 4 cm.

From now on work the chart for 11.8 in / 30 cm, start the armholes descreases, BO 2 sts on each side every other row 4 times.

At 19.3 in / 49 cm from the CO edge, BO all the sts.

 

RIGHT FRONT

With MC, CO 42, (46, 48, 54), 58, 62 sts, work in 1/1 rib st for 1.57 in / 4 cm.

At 10.2 in / 26 cm from the CO edge, start the neckline decreases, BO 2 sts on the right side every other row 6 times.

At 19.3 in / 49 cm from the CO edge, BO all the sts.

 

LEFT FRONT

Same as the right front, just mirror the side of the armhole and neckline bind-offs.

 

SLEEVES

With MC, CO 42, (46, 48, 54), 58, 62 sts, work in 1/1 rib st for 1.57 in / 4 cm.

From now on work the chart for 8.7 in / 22 cm, increase 1 st on each side every other row 7 times, for a total of 56, (60, 62, 68), 72, 76 sts.

 

At 15 in / 38 cm, shape the sleeve cap by decreasing:

3 sts on each side every other row 1 time;

2 sts 4 times;

1 st 3 times;

2 sts 3 times;

At 23.2 in / 59 cm BO the remaining sts.

 

Make the other sleeve the same.

 

ASSEMBLING

Using the tapestry needle and MC, sew the side seams, leaving the armhole openings Sew the shoulders for 6.2, (7.1, 7.9, 8.65), 9.85, 11 in / 16, (18, 20, 22), 25, 28 cm, sew the sleeves  and attach them around the armholes.

 

Fold the hem and cuffs to the WS and secure them with basting stitches, leaving a double cuff with a 0.8 in / 2 cm hem.

 

FRONT BAND

With MC, facing RS, pick up and knit 48, (54, 60, 66), 76, 84 sts for each front and 58, (62, 72, 82), 90, 102 sts for the neckline. Work in 1/1 rib sts for 2 rows, BO all the sts loosely.

 

FINISHING

Weave in all your ends, wet block and lay flat to dry.
