Stitches used
1x1 rib: k1, p1, k1. Stockinette: k on the right side, p on the wrong side.
Gauge- 10x10 cm square in stockinette, with 5.0 mm needles = 21 sts x 24 rows.
Execution- Back - cast-on 91 sts on the 4.0 mm needles and work in 1x1 rib. When it measures 8 cm from the cast-on edge, switch to 5.0 mm needles, make 10 evenly distributed increases on the 1st row and knit in stockinette. Bind-off all sts when the piece measures 36 cm from the CO edge.
Front - work just like the back until the piece measures 20 cm from the CO edge, then start shaping the neckline. Bind-off the 9 center sts and work on each side separately. Decrease 1 st every 2nd row, 15 times in total. Bind-off all sts when the piece measures 36 cm from the CO edge.
Finishing – seam the shoulders. With the circular needles, pick up and k 104 sts around the sides and back of the neckline, with the right side of the piece facing you. Start picking up the stitches at the red dot shown in the chart. Work flat in 1x1 rib and bind-off when it measures 4 cm. Overlap both edges of the ribbing and seam them to the base of the neckline (the 9 sts bind-off space).
For the armholes, pick up and k 39 sts with the right side of the work facing you, along 18 cm of each side of the panels and work in 1x1 rib. Bind-off when the ribbing measures 2 cm.
Seam the sides of the body and the armhole ribbing.
