Execution

Back- cast-on 82 stitches on 4.5 mm needles. Work in stockinette stitch for 3 cm, then in moss stitch until your work measures 30 cm. At this point, shape the armholes by decreasing, every 2nd row, 3 sts (1x), 2 sts (1x), then 1 st (2x). After the decreases, work in pattern until the panel measures 48 cm, then bind-off all stitches.

Front– work like the back until it measures 42 cm. To shape the neckline, bind-off the 14 center stitches and work on each side separately from now on. Bind-off on the neckline edge only, every 2nd row, 4 sts (1x), 3 sts (1x), 2 sts (1x), then 1 st (1x). After the decreases, work in pattern until the panel measures 48 cm, then bind-off all stitches.

Finishing– seam the shoulders and the sides of the body. With the circular needles and the right side of the work facing out, pick up and knit 90 stitches around the neckline. Knit in stockinette for 3 cm, then bind-off all stitches. Using the same circular needles and with the right side of the work still facing out, pick up and knit 100 stitches around the armhole; knit in stockinette for 3 cm, then bind-off all stitches. Repeat on the other armhole.
