4.5 mm circular needles with an 80 cm cable
1 skein of Charme yarn (Color: 2931)
4 decorative buttons
1 stitch holder

Execution
Size: 6 Months
This piece is knit flat and seamed later. Begin with the legs, then join them to construct the body.
Legs (make two)
Cast on 65 stitches. Work 4 rows in garter stitch (knit every row). Then work in stockinette stitch until piece measures approximately 2.5 inches.
Crotch Increases
Right side: k1, M1L, knit to last stitch, M1R, k1.
Wrong side: purl all stitches.
Repeat these two rows 4 more times (5 total increase rows). Final stitch count per leg: 74.
Joining Legs and Body Construction
Place both panels on the circular needle. Starting at the center: k37, PM, k74, PM, k37 (148 stitches).
Work in stockinette stitch for approximately 7.0 inches.
To shape the back: On right side, k6, ssk repeat to first marker (10 decreases). New stitch count: 138.
Next row: yo, p2tog across the row to form eyelets.
Work 1x1 rib (k1, p1) for approximately 1.0 inches.
Bind off 64 stitches for the back. Continue working front panel only.
Front Panel (71 stitches)
Row 1: p6, k8, p5, PM, [k3, p3] across 33 stitches, PM, p5, k8, p6.
Row 2 and all even rows: p18, SM, work established pattern, SM, p18.
Rows 3, 5, 9, 19, 21, 23: same as Row 1.
Rows 7, 17, 25: p6, hold 4 stitches to back, k4, knit held 4; p5, PM, [p3, k3] for 33 stitches, PM, p5, hold 4 to front, k4, knit held 4, p6.
Rows 11, 13, 15: p6, k8, p5, PM, [p3, k3] for 33 stitches, PM, p5, k8, p6.

Straps
Work first 19 stitches in cable pattern. Bind off center 33 stitches. Reserve first 19 stitches on a holder.
