Sizes: S (M, L)

Materials:

Aloe Vera – 3 (3, 4) hanks in the color 3113 (Peach Pink);

5.0 mm and 6.0 mm Círculo knitting needles;

5.0 mm Círculo circular knitting needles– 60 cm cable.

Stitches used

2x2 rib: k2, p2, k2

Stockinette: k on the right side, p on the wrong side

Slip stitch pattern:

•             1st row: k3, sl1wyib, k3

•             2nd and all even rows: p all sts

•             3rd row: k all sts

•             5th row: k1, sl1wyib, k3, sl1wyib, k1

•             7th row: repeat 1st row. 

Gauge: 10x10 cm square in stockinette, with 6.0 mm needles = 17 sts x 20 rows.           

Execution

Front and back – both are made the same way. Cast-on 53 (61, 70) sts on 6.0 mm needles and work in 2x2 rib for 2 in / 5 cm, then work in the slip stitch pattern until 11.75 (12.25, 12.5) in / 30 (31, 32) cm from the beginning of the work.

Armholes - Then, to shape the armholes, bind-off on every 2nd row:

S: 4 sts (1 time), then 3 sts (1 time)

M: 4 sts (1 time), then 3 sts (1 time) and 2 sts (1 time)

L: 4 sts (1 time), then 4 sts (1 time) and 3 sts (1 time)

Neckline - When the work measures 17 (17.75, 18.5) in / 43 (45, 47) cm from the beginning, bind-off the 10 (12, 12) center sts and work on each side separately. Bind-off on the neckline edge, every 2nd row:

S: 4 sts (1 time), 3 sts (2 time)

M: 4 sts (1 time), 3 sts (1 time), 2 sts (2 time), then 1 st (1 time)

L: 4 sts (1 time), 3 sts (1 time), 2 sts (2 time), then 1 st (1 time)

Bind-off all remaining sts when the work measures 19 (19.75, 20.5) in / 48 (50, 52) cm.

Finishing–

Sloulders: seam the shoulders.

Neckline: With the 5.0 mm circular needles, pick up 92 (96, 98) sts around the neckline, with the right side of the work facing out, and work in 2x2 rib. Bind-off all sts when the ribbing measures 3 cm.

Armhole: With the 5.0 mm needles, pick up 82 (84, 88) sts around the armhole and work in 2x2 rib, then bind-off all sts when the ribbing measures 3 cm. Do the same on the second armhole.

Body: Seam the sides of the body and the bottom of the armhole ribbing.
