PATTERN NOTES

Light as air and wonderfully soft, this raglan sweater is knit in luxurious mohair for an effortless, feminine look. The smooth stockinette body beautifully highlights the dramatic lace sleeves, featuring a graceful wave-like pattern that flows from shoulder to cuff. This sweater is knit seamlessly in the round from the top down. The body and sleeves are separated at the underarms. Sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round.

SPECIAL STITCHES Lift-Right Increase (LRI): with yarn in back, insert the RH needle from back to front into the st below the next st on the LH needle. Lift this st and place it on the LH needle without twisting it. Insert the RH needle into the lifted st from front to back and knit the st.

Lift-Left Increase (LLI): with yarn in back, insert the LH needle from back to front into the st two rows below the last st on the RH needle. Insert the RH needle into the back of the lifted st from front to back and knit the st.

Make 1 left increase (M1L): pick up bar between last st worked and next st, bringing the needle from the front to the back, then knit into back loop of picked up bar.

Make 1 right increase (M1R): pick up bar between last st worked and next st, bringing the needle from the back to the front, then knit into front loop of picked up bar.
