Materials:

Sugar Pop – 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins, color 9482 (Pacific).

Círculo knitting needles – US 4 (3.3 mm)[Autor des1]  and US 6 (4.0 mm).

Círculo circular needle – US 5 (3.5 mm), 24" (60 cm) cable.

Tracing paper – for the pattern pieces.

 

Stitches and Abbreviations:

st – stitchrnd – roundrep – repeatk – knitp – purlBO – bind offCO – cast ondec – decrease

Stockinette Stitch: Knit on RS rows, purl on WS rows.

K2, P2 Rib: K2, P2, K2; rep from across.

Garter Stitch: Knit every row.

Pattern Stitch: 13 rows in Stockinette Stitch, 3 rows in Garter Stitch; rep from .

 

Gauge: 21 sts × 30 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Pattern Stitch, following the instructions, using US 6 (4.0 mm) needles.

Instructions: Transfer the pattern pieces to tracing paper to use as a guide while working the garment.


Back

With Sugar Pop in Pacific, CO 94 (98, 110, 120, 130, 140) sts using US 5 (3.5 mm) needles and work in K2, P2 Rib.

At 4" (10 cm) from the beginning, change to US 6 (4.0 mm) needles and work in Pattern Stitch following the instructions.

At 13¾ (14¼, 14½, 15¼, 15¾, 16½)" / 35 (36, 37, 39, 40, 42) cm from the beginning, CO 16 sts at each side for the sleeves and continue working across all sts in Pattern Stitch following the instructions.

At 19¾ (20¾, 21¾, 22¾, 24, 25¼)" / 50 (53, 55, 58, 61, 64) cm from the beginning, BO.


Front

With Sugar Pop in Pacific, CO 94 (98, 110, 120, 130, 140) sts using US 5 (3.5 mm) needles and work in K2, P2 Rib.

At 4" (10 cm) from the beginning, change to US 6 (4.0 mm) needles and work in Pattern Stitch following the instructions.

At 11¾ (12¼, 13, 13¾, 14½, 15¼)" / 30 (31, 33, 35, 37, 39) cm from the beginning, for the neckline, divide the work into two equal sections and work each side separately.

Neckline decreases: At the neckline edge, dec 1 st every other row 9 (7, 9, 9, 8, 8) times, then every 4th row 11 (13, 12, 12, 14, 14) times.

At 13¾ (14¼, 14½, 15¼, 15¾, 16½)" / 35 (36, 37, 39, 40, 42) cm from the beginning, for the sleeves, CO 16 sts at the edge opposite the neckline and continue working across all sts in Pattern Stitch following the instructions.

At 19¾ (20¾, 21¾, 22¾, 24, 25¼)" / 50 (53, 55, 58, 61, 64) cm from the beginning, BO.


Finishing

Sew shoulder seams.

With Sugar Pop in Pacific and the circular needle, pick up sts around the neckline from the RS and work in K2, P2 Rib. At the center front neckline, pick up 1 st and work a centered double decrease (CDD) over this st on every row as follows: slip 2 sts together knitwise; K1; pass the 2 slipped sts over the knitted st. When the neckband measures 1¼" (3 cm) from the picked-up edge, BO.

Sew sleeve seams.

Sew side seams, leaving the bottom 4" (10 cm) of the ribbing unseamed.
