Materials:

2 skeins of Charme – Color: 8001 (White);

1 skein of Whoopee – Color: 9922 (Brazilian Lemon);

US 2–3 circular bamboo needle with stainless steel cable (length: 80 cm / 31.5 in);

Tapestry needle; 

Crochet hook (4 pieces);

Tracing paper;

Pencil;

Scissors;

Measuring tape.

Stitches used: garter stitch: follow diagram 1, stockinette stitch: follow diagram 2.


Gauge: a 4-inch (10 cm) square in stockinette stitch (diagram 2) on a US 2–3 (3.0 mm) circular needle = 24 sts x 32 rowsing.


Execution


Transfer the templates onto tracing paper to use as a reference while working the piece. Pay attention to the arrows on the measurement diagram indicating the working direction. Knit all pieces in back-and-forth rows.


Back: Using Charme White yarn, cast on 116 sts on a US 2–3 (3.0 mm) circular needle. Begin the piece at the hem with garter stitch, following diagram 1 and rep sts for  0.8 in (2 cm). On the next row, continue the piece in stockinette stitch, following diagram 2 and the rep sts. To create the stripes, knit 15 rows with Charme White yarn and 8 rows with Whoopee yarn in Sicil Brazilian Lemon. At 11.8 in (30 cm) in length, begin the raglan armholes: dec 2 sts at each side every 2 rows 3 x, then 1 st 22 x. At 17 in (43 cm) in length, place the remaining 60 sts on a stitch holder to cont later with the neckline. Set the piece aside. 


Front: Same as the back.


Sleeve: Using Charme White yarn, cast on 70 sts on a US 2–3 (3.0 mm) circular needle. Begin the sleeve at the cuff with garter stitch, following diagram 1 and the repeat sts for 0.8 in (2 cm). On the next row, continue the sleeve in stockinette stitch, following diagram 2 and the rep sts. To create the stripes, knit 15 rows with Charme White yarn and 8 rows with Whoopee yarn in Sicil Brazilian Lemon. At 5.9 in (15 cm) in length, begin the raglan armholes: dec 1 st at each side every 3 rows 9 x, then every 2 rows 11 x. At 11 in (28 cm) in length, place the remaining 30 sts on a stitch holder to cont later with the neckline. Make the other sleeve the same way.


Neckline: Transfer the sts held on the stitch holders back to a US 2–3 (3.0 mm) circular needle.  With 60 sts (back), 30 sts (left sleeve), 60 sts (front), and 30 sts (right sleeve), totaling 180 sts. Knit the neckline using Charme White yarn in garter stitch, following diagram 1 and the rep sts from row 1 to row 14. Every 2 rows, dec 13 sts alternately 7 x, ending row 14 with 89 sts. Bo all sts.


Assembly: Using a tapestry needle and Charme White and Whoopee yarn in Sicil Brazilian Lemon, follow the stripes on the piece and seam with whipstitch. Join the sleeves to the body at the armholes for 5.1 in (13 cm). Close the side seams of the body for 11.8 in (30 cm). Close the sleeves for 5.9 in (15 cm) and the neckline for 1.6 in (4 cm).
