    06/25/2025 Level of difficulty SIZE: 9.5" x 14" (24 cm x 36 cm)   MATERIALS: 1 Premium T-Shirt yarn roll – Color: #6630 (Periwinkle); Crochet hook – 7.0 mm; Natural cotton rope (40" / 1 m); Synthetic cane webbing (9" x 13.75" / 23 x 35 cm); Lilac cotton fabric for the lining (10" x 13.75" / 25 x 35 cm); 1 Maxxi Retrós thread – Color: #460 (Candy Lilac); Sewing needle – No. 2; 2 silver magnetic buttons (0.55" x 0.55" / 14 mm x 14 mm); Sewing machine; Scissors; Measuring tape.   Abbreviations: r.: row/round , diag.: diagram , st.: stitch , sts.: stitches .    Stitches used: ch.:  chain, sl st.:  slip stitch, sc.:  single crochet, dc.:  double crochet, bottom of the bag:  follow diag. 1, side:  follow diag. 2.  Gauge: a 4" (10 cm) square in fantasy stitch (diag. 1) using a 7.0 mm hook = 10 sts. x 8 rows. Execution Bottom of the bag:  Using the Premium T-shirt yarn in Periwinkle color and a 7.0 mm crochet hook, start the piece at the top by working a foundation chain of 19 ch. Over this chain, work following diag. 1 from the 1st to the 25th row. Work in back-and-forth rows. Fasten off the yarn and set the piece aside. Side – Circle:  Using the Premium T-shirt yarn in Periwinkle color and a 7.0 mm crochet hook, start the motif by making a magic ring. R1: 3 ch., 11 dc., 1 sl st. to close the round. R2: follow diag. 2. Make another circle (1 more) and set them aside. Finishing:  On the wrong side of the bottom of the bag, place the synthetic cane webbing, then the lilac cotton fabric. Attach the lining using the sewing machine and the Maxxi Retrós thread in Candy Lilac color, leaving a border of about 0.2" (0.5 cm) all around. Switch to the Premium T-shirt yarn in Periwinkle color and a 7.0 mm crochet hook. On the sides of the bottom of the bag, attach the circles (diag. 2) with 20 sc., leaving an opening at the top of about 2" (5 cm). Using a no. 2 sewing needle and the Maxxi Retrós thread in Candy Lilac, attach the magnetic buttons as shown in the diagram.  At the edge of the bag sides, pass the natural cotton rope through, leaving an extra length of approximately 6" (15 cm) on each side. Knit 2 rows in st st, then switch to the project yarn. Keep working in st st. Increase 1 st on each side every 12 rows (3 times).  At 9.4, ( 10.2 , 11.4, 12.6 ), 14.2, 15.8 in / 24, ( 26 , 29, 32 ), 36, 40 cm   from the CO edge. BO 1 st on each side every other row (15 times). At 15, ( 16.5 , 18.1, 20.1 ), 22.4, 25.2 in / 38, ( 42 , 46, 51 ), 57, 64 cm from the CO edge. BO all the sts. Make another sleeve the same.   ASSEMBLING: Sew the shoulders together and close the sides. Remove the provisional CO, transfer all the sts back to the needles and knit in the stitch pattern following the chart.   At 9.8, ( 11 , 12.2, 13.4 ), 15, 16.5  in / 25, (28, 31, 34), 38, 42 cm of the pattern stitch section, work 0.79 in / 2 cm in seed stitch and then BO all the sts.   Remove the provisional CO, transfer all the sleeve sts back to the needles and knit in the stitch pattern following the chart.
