Slip stitch (sl st): Insert the hook, yarn over, pull the loop through and pass it directly through the loop on the hook. Single crochet  (sc): Insert the hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, and with another yarn over, draw through both loops on the hook. Double crochet  (dc): Yarn over, insert the hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops, and with another yarn over, draw through the remaining loops. Treble crochet  (tr): Yarn over twice, insert the hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops  (repeat 2 times), and with another yarn over, draw through the remaining loops.
